Proper washing of woven fabrics is crucial for maintaining garment quality. First, prepare by sorting the fabric by material, such as cotton, silk, or wool; carefully check the care label for washing and drying instructions. Next, choose hand washing or machine washing based on the fabric's characteristics. For hand washing, use a suitable detergent, gently rub and rinse thoroughly, then wring dry and hang to air dry in a well-ventilated area. For machine washing, select a suitable washing program, use detergent, rinse until no foam remains, gently spin dry, and then air dry as well. Note that air drying is recommended over tumble drying, as it avoids heat and sunlight damage. Additionally, avoid using bleach, choose a low-temperature washing temperature, do not excessively spin dry, avoid direct sunlight, and use a suitable amount of fabric softener.
